Child Safety

The safety of every child on our platform is our highest priority. This page explains our safety policies, how to report a concern, and resources for mandated reporters.

In an emergency, call 911.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. For suspected child abuse or neglect, call the National Child Abuse Hotline: 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453)

Report a Safety Concern

Use the form below or email contact@kidscodegift.com. Reports may be made anonymously. We acknowledge all reports within 24 hours and investigate within 72 hours.

All reports are reviewed by platform administrators. False reports may result in account suspension.

Mandated Reporter Resources

Teachers on our platform may be mandated reporters under their state's law. If you suspect child abuse or neglect, you are legally obligated to report it to your state's child protective services. The hotlines below are available 24/7.

For states not listed, find your reporting hotline at childwelfare.gov

Our Safety Commitments

Verified Teachers

Every teacher undergoes identity verification and a background check before being approved. No exceptions.

Waiting Room

Live sessions use a waiting room — the teacher admits each student. No one can join a session uninvited.

Enrollment Gate

Only enrolled students can access live sessions. The room URL is never exposed — access is via scoped, time-limited meeting tokens.

Recording Governance

Recording is off by default. When enabled, each student must consent. Recordings are deleted after 90 days and never used for marketing.

Incident Logging

Every safety report is logged, tracked, and investigated. Teachers can be suspended immediately pending investigation.

Emergency Contacts

Parents provide emergency contacts at onboarding. Schools provide a designated administrator contact.
